SATC Purple Zirconia and Aluminum Oxide Latex Paper Sanding Discs are engineered for sanding off coatings and impurities or unevenness at the edges of repaired surfaces, flatting of body filler and primer filler, removal of orange-peel effect and dust inclusions. Especially good choice for automotive finishing. The unique zirconia and aluminum oxide mixed abrasive delivers twice the cut rate of and a 3 times longer lifespan than Gold, while the special semi-open and anti-clog stearate coating greatly reduce loading, and the nylon yarn contained hook and loop back, which features much more sticky than the normal back, makes replacements easy, quick and not fall off when installed in use.The C-weight latex backing has optimal flexibility, tear resistance and flatness for a quality finish and improved life. * Purple is an upgraded item of Gold Sanding Discs.

There are some other purple sanding discs on the market of conventional latex paper backing and special coated aluminum oxide abrasive. That's why they are just abou 3 dollars more expensive than gold. SATC purple sanding disc is made from premium imported zirconia abrasive bonded with heavy duty, flexible latex paper, usually supplied only to some upmarket brands in Europe. It also could be dyed blue, orange or some other colors, just we choose to dye it purple.
